The human brain is capable of remarkable healing and adaptation. I’m constantly amazed by the brain’s ability to recover and regain function after injuries.
World Brain Day is an annual observance held on July 22nd to raise awareness about neurological disorders and promote brain health worldwide. The goal is to shed light on the impact of neurological conditions on individuals, families, and communities, while advocating for improved prevention, treatment, and support. This year’s theme is, “Brain Health and Disability: Leave No One Behind”.
By highlighting the importance of brain health and raising awareness about neurological disorders, we aim to reduce the stigma associated with these conditions, promote early detection and intervention, and advocate for better access to healthcare services and support for individuals affected by neurological disorders.
